The next stage of my life.

Finally after 8 months, I'm here to start posting again. Has been so lazy to update my blog. Well, I guess nobody reads it too. 

Well, a few good news to share here. 

1st, I have finally graduated from Nanyang Polytechnic & am officially a diploma holder now! 3years, not too long also not too short. I've finally pull it through. I'm glad, all the exams, assignments, notes, are all over. Not prepared to continue study now. Really tired. 

I'm now helping out at my sis childcare centre now. Pretty stress-less. But other stuffs are here to compensate my stress-less work... 

2nd good news! Is that I'm engaged!!! Well, last year, national day, boyfriend & me got a house for our future. This year, 15 feb, he proposed to me, :) considered a fail plan but I'm happy for everything. It was meant to be a surprise, but during his preparation, some loopholes were leaked out. Haha. But I appreciate it. & with the help of all of the friends. Thank you all. A day I will never forget. 

Now hotel and date has been settled. Furama riverfront hotel on the 27 dec 2014!! 

Now I'm troubled by the date of ROM & the location. I have a date in mind. But location..... Well slowly sort it out. :) 

Many things to do but it is a process that happened only once in a lifetime. I will enjoy the process :) 

Probably will use the time when all the kids are asleep to update this page of mine.

First post in 2013!

Look at the date now! Its already 7th Jan. Time flies too fast, sometimes too scary. Well.. Its Monday now & looking at the time I should be at work but why am i still here blogging. Yes, too bored. Waiting for my OIC to give me task to do. Been rotting & doing all the things i can. Facebook, Facebook games, looking for shows to watch but can't find any yet. So blogging is my last resort. Lol. 

Last day of 2012, spent it with boyfriend. Both of us only had half day work that day, I ended earlier. So I trained over to Jurong to meet up with boyfriend. But the rain was crazily heavy that day! Chinatown is almost flooding. With umbrella, you'll still get drenched! So my shoes & socks were wet. Wet, cold & super hungry! So both of us meet up straight at Jurong Point & went to buy a shoe & socks to change. Feels so much better after changing. Was craving for some noodle but everywhere were crowded with humans, we just settled at Carls' Jr. Went back to boyfriend's house & it was still drizzling. Best weather to nap. Hah. Eat sleep eat sleep, fat die us! ;p

Woke up in the evening & his mom cooked dinner. Ate & went out about 7plus 8pm. Our plan is to go Marina Bay Sands for some musical show. As boyfriend is entitled free tickets to it. It funny that we're going for something that we don't even know what it is. & we didn't even thought of googling who is the person holding the concert. We did that only when we sat in the theatre. 

 This is it! Haha. "New Year's Eve with Paul Anka" When we were about to walk into the theatre. We saw many much older people walking in. So we were thinking is this a show for old people. Lol. Well, Paul Anka is someone who is very popular in the older generations. Not many of people in our generation would know him. Apparently his songs aren't too bad.

We thought it would end after 12am but no! It ended about 30mins before 12am! So we rushed out of MBS to catch the fireworks. As usual, it was crowded with so many people! Fireworks still as pretty as ever! didn't took any photo of it but boyfriend took a video down.

After fireworks ended, it is still too crowded to leave MBS. & I was hungry! Lol.. So we ended up finding a place to rest & wait for the crowded to be disperse. Passed by TCC & we decided to go there. Sinful & its the first supper of the year! Lol.

My Chocolate mint frapp & wedges at the back. We sat there till 1plus & left. Back home & sleep! A simple countdown with boyfriend, satisfied (: 

First day of 2013, boyfriend went to help out at his dad's stall in the morning. While I slept till late. ;p 

Came back in the afternoon & then we prepared ourselves to go out! Back to MBS again! Our first night in 2013 was spent in MBS. As boyfriend got a free room, so he booked it last month. 

Went to check in & rest abit in the room. Watched shows from the laptop & around 6pm, we prepared ourselves to go for a dinner. Wedding dinner! It was at Orchard Hotel & when we reach there, the couple were preparing for their 1st walk in already. The food there is good. Though the hotel is a little old.

Head back to MBS after that. Relaxed ourselves with red wine & I love that night. Cause Its full moon! The moon is so beautiful! I always have a thing with moon. I don't know why. I get excited when its full moon. Just too beautiful.

Check out at 12pm the next day & both of us didn't went to work ;p Hehee. So i went to get MC for the day. 

Sis bought me at Coach wrist-let as her friend went to US for holiday. Since its so cheap over there. & I finally receive it yesterday night! 

 It was suppose to be red. But when sis went to collect the wrist-let, she found out that its bright pink, not red. As i'm not a pink person, I ended up taking white. (: 

Okay, been rotting for few hours already & my post is coming to an end for now. I hope she calls in soon to give me a task! 

Hotpot craze!

Within around 1 week, I had hotpot twice! But it is awesome! Met up with Emerine, Meifern & Jena at NEX for a meet up & hotpot dinner! Went to 鲜得来 to give it a try. They serve in individual pots & their pots are very special.

I love it when the table is full of food! It just give me more appetite to eat! Though I can't eat A LOT!

Yesterday, our 3rd Anniversary! 3 years just pass so fast. As both of us got to work, we only meet up for dinner. Have been hearing from so many people that LeLe pot (乐乐锅) is nice & its always very crowded. So must reserve seats before going. So reserved seats the day before & true enough, it is really crowded. 

It is an air-conditioned hotpot place & the boss is someone who used to act in shows. Don't know his name but usually in those martial arts show. 

We can choose 2 soup base! So boyfriend & me chose ma la soup & herbal chicken soup. Yes, ma la again! It tastes almost the same as 鲜得来's. The ma la soup is very addictive. Hehee. I want more ma la steamboat!

The drinks i ordered. Ribena aloe vera freeze. It is very refreshing!

Their buffet steamboat includes dessert too! They have choice of ice cream & bean curd  We tried their beancurd. Not too bad though.

The food are good. The service there, not too bad too. At least it is much better than I expected. Although when the staffs gets busier, our order came in after a long time & much reminders. But they are very apologetic which I don't find in other hotpot place. I'm someone who is very concern about the service. No matter how nice is the food, as long the service sucks, entering the shop again will not be in my consideration again. Whats more? Their price is very reasonable. I think this is the cheapest steamboat I've seen, i guess?
Monday - Thursday: $20.40 for adult.
Friday,Weekends,PH: $21.40 for adult.
Drinks are not included, so got to order separately.
& They don't have service charge. (Or maybe they have already included in the price.) So I think its is worth going back to have hotpot there again! Although the location ain't too convenient. But consider near to Tiong Bahru Mrt station.

Head back home after dinner. Super full but very satisfied. (:
Just a few more days, 2012 is coming to an end. I hope 2013 is a better year!

Love, a lifetime promise

Well.. Am current at work ( Attachment ) & was browsing through facebook. So, I came about this short story which it touches me after reading. I want to share it here because even though not much people visit this area here, but i want to read it again & again in years to come when i read back my old posts. So.. Here we go, The Passbook.

She married him today.

At the end of the wedding party, her mother gave her a newly opened bank savings passbook, with $1000 deposited in it.

She told her, "My dear daughter, take this passbook. Keep it as a record of your married life. Whenever something happy and memorable happens in your new life, put some money in. Write down what it's about next to the amount. The more memorabl

e the event is, the more money you can put in. I've done the first one for you today. Do the others with your husband. When you look back after years, you will know how much happiness you've both shared.'

She shared this with him after getting home. Both of them thought it was a great idea and couldn't wait to make the next deposit! This is what the passbook looked like after a while:

- 7 Feb: $100, his first birthday celebration after marriage

- 1 Mar: $300, she gets a salary raise

- 20 Mar: $200, vacation to Bali

- 15 Apr: $2000, She's pregnant!

- 1 Jun: $1000, He gets the big promotion

and so on...

However, as the years went by, they began fighting and arguing over trivial things. They didn't talk much. They regretted that they had married the most nasty person in the world...There was no more love.

One day she talked to her Mother. 'Mom, we can't stand it anymore. We have decided to divorce. I can't imagine how I decided to marry this guy!'

Her mother replied, 'Sure, that's no big deal. Just do whatever you want, if you really can't stand it. But before that, do one thing. Remember the savings passbook I gave you on your wedding day? Take out all money and spend it first. You shouldn't keep any record of such a poor marriage.'

She agreed with her. So she went to the bank, and was waiting in the queue to cancel the account. While she was waiting, she took a look at the passbook record. She looked, and looked, and looked. Then the memory of all the previous joyful moments came back to her. Her eyes were filled with tears. She left and went home.

When she got home, she handed the passbook to him and asked him to spend the money before getting divorced.

So the next day, he went to the bank, and was waiting in the queue to cancel the account. While he was waiting, he took a look at the passbook record. He looked, and looked, and looked. Then the memory of all the previous joyful moments came back to him. His eyes were filled with tears. He left and went home.

He gave the passbook back to her. She found a new deposit of $5000. And a line next to the record: 'This is the day I realized how much I've loved you throughout all these years. How much happiness you've brought me.'

They hugged and cried, putting the passbook back into the safe.

Appealing Danglings

Its another week again. Its almost the mid of November. Time pass really fast. Its monday again tmr! But somehow I don't have the strong monday blueszxzsx feeling like i always feels for the past weeks! I don't know why. Maybe it is because FYPJ is ending? Just the last 2 weeks left! Or maybe because there's a public holiday this coming tuesday! Its Deepavali! Means its gonna be a shorter week. For my FYPJ, i just gonna finish my last small part, & I'm done with it. Yea, seems easy, but.. It is also the most complicated part. I hope i can finish it by tmr!

Then I'll start my IPP which is my attachment soon! Until now i still can't accept the fact that I'm going to Buddha Tooth Relic Temple for attachment! I just never expect myself to have to go attachment in a temple.
I have never heard of this temple until this attachment. & I will be there creating website. Heard from all my friends, their website has already been revamped. So... What else can i do? We shall seeeeeee...

Enough of school matters. My purpose of this post is to promote a little for my upcoming online business. Well, not exactly mine. Helping boyfriend to do it. It is named "Appealing Danglings" & it is selling accessories.. Please stay tune! It will be launched soon!

Goodbye October, Hello November!

In a few minutes time, November is arriving already. Time flies.. 2012 is ending already. & in a month time, its our 3rd year anniversary! In a blink of eyes, we've been together for 3 years already. Haven't really plan for anything for our 3rd year..

Today, planned to have KFC for lunch with Michelle & Davidson. So went to amk KFC. But only to realise that it is under renovation! There goes my cheese fries! So we ended up having lunch at Pizza hut! Super like that pan pizza.

Then we went to Fairprice to walk abit. & we saw this! (Photo above) Laugh like mad! Why can't they just use "$5.80 each". 

Into the mid-week of week 9, super worried & panick. Schedule behind time already. Time is running out! Been complaining to everyone who come & ask me how's my proj. I rather go back to academic phase. ): 

Waiting for IPP now! Briefing this friday. 

A brief one today. Tired already.. 

有你的日子，第1036天

In a few minutes time, its monday again! I'm already feeling the monday blueszxszxszxsz now! Ever since FYPJ starts, I dread for monday to be here.. Cause it is like another week of war! Week 9 of FYPJ is gonna start. & I'm getting worried, panick! Cause my progress of my work is very slow. Even slower than a snail! I'm really scared that I won't make it for my FYPJ. This is my final lap in NYP & I really wanna graduate on time, with all my classmates. 

I can't believe i'm saying this but I wish i'm back in the acad phase. Pros & cons for acad & FYPJ.

If only NYP allows us to choose either IPP or FYPJ only. Week 12 is getting nearer.. Good, is that FYPJ is ending. Bad, is that I don't know how to get through these 4 weeks! This is getting really stressed up! & No one I can turn to for help. I'm worried for my IPP yet also excited for it. Worried that i'm not able to handle the task given. Excited that I'm only left with 12 weeks & I'm freed from NYP! 

Sigh.. Theres so many things that i'm worried about. Is this the life of entering adulthood? 

But on the other hand, a happier note, boyfriend & me have received the letter from HDB with an appointment date to sign for the purchase of flat(?) Or something... Don't really know whats that but is something that has to do with our purchasing of flat. Everything is approved & settled. Now all we have to do is to wait for 2014 to get our keys.

Look at the calendar! October is ending & November is approaching.. Then Christmas is coming. This year is ending already. In a blink of eyes. our 3rd year anniversary is coming, in December. But haven't really planned for it. 

I may nag, may not seems to appreciate, but somewhere in me knew all that you've done for me. & I'm really happy that I have you in my life, my lifetime partner.
